


Playscripts has hundreds of play scripts for drama students, but a dozen quality play scripts are free to read (registration required). Great collection of one-act historical plays now in the public domain and therefore royalty-free. Performance rights must be obtained for production of the scripts. Most play scripts are available to view, print and download in full, making them useful for classroom drama. ProPlays houses a large number of professionally written full-length plays, suitable for students and adult performers. If you want to do a topic on radio plays in your drama classroom, this is the website for you. The Generic Radio Workshop has scripts to nearly 200 vintage radio plays and sketches from the 1930s, 40s and 50s.
